Your advantages compared to conventional dunnage bags

New approaches in dunnage bag production
Welding dunnage bags – the production concept of the future
Instead of going through a sewing machine, the dunnage bags pass through a device in which the bag openings are welded with a coated closure strip. No adhesive is required in this case.
The new process allows both coated and uncoated GrizzlyBag® dunnage bags to be manufactured in an efficient and material-saving process.
Greater strength, material savings, low maintenance
Welding polypropylene dunnage bags with a sealing tape instead of sewing them offers significant advantages in production and application and is environmentally friendly. With the newly developed concept, broken needles, puncture holes and oil stains on the dunnage bag fabric are a thing of the past.
In contrast to sewing, the new process results in significant material savings in dunnage bag production, as less raw material (polypropylene) is required. As a result, you benefit from lower costs and the environment is burdened with less CO2. The material savings result from the elimination of seam allowances for the upper and lower closure seams and the fact that the higher strength of the storage bag allows lighter fabric to be used.
Thanks to the oil-free production process, dunnage bags are also suitable for securing foodstuffs.
