Our lashing strap Lash2000 is an economic and easy to handle safe alternative for conventional tension belts and/or complex wooden crates for load securing. The use of lashing is steadily increasing as a method for load securing on flatracks and in containers.
Lashing for bulky goods
Lashing helps to replace expensive multi-way straps and to support and replace complex wooden crates. Furthermore lashing straps are utilized to tie bulky goods together and to fix them on suitable carriers. In combination with our GWS fasteners and using appropriate ratches, reliable connections between product and carrier can be established, serving to protect your goods against all damages during transport.

By means of a special production and weaving technique, polyester yarns are manufactured in order to reach the highest possible tear strength. Lash2000 are subject to tight controls in our Grönheit & Weigel test laboratory. Thus we ensure that our special weaving technique and the deployment of high-grade raw materials make Lash2000 a high-grade load securing product.

We provide lashing straps in widths from 32 to 50 mm with tear strengths from 2000 daN in linear traction up to 8919 daN within a system. Depending on the goods to be loaded and the carrier we are able to consult you comprehensively and answer your questions. Best results are often gained in combination with other products for load securing. Thus edge protectors protect lashing straps against sharp edges just like dunnage bags prevent products from moving inside the container. Our lashing straps are delivered in a carrying bag with guiding hole, handy and space-saving.

MSL (Maximum Securing Load) is the value of the maximum load a load securing material can withstand before starting to deform plastically.
In the past (until around 2004), this value was assumed to be 30 per cent of the strength, since the new textile material was not yet accepted by the IMO (International Maritime Organization). However, the IMO has changed its view since then and is now assuming a MSL value of 50 per cent, generally referring to the system strength.

A lashing strap serves for lashing the load on a suitable carrier according to CTU (Cargo Transport Unit).
A textile lashing strap is the ultimate alternative to ropes, cables, wires and chains. Due to the risk of injuries of the latter experts prefer textile alternatives.
