Professional Load Securing

Lashing for load securing is a cost-effective alternative to conventional tension straps and elaborate wooden constructions. The polyester fibres for our lashing straps are processed using a special production and weaving technique to achieve the highest possible tensile strength. The straps are subject to constant quality and safety checks. In combination with our fasteners and hooks, highly reliable connections are formed between the cargo and the load carrier. In this way, your goods are safely protected from damage during transport.

The so-called restraint systems represent a further safeguard. Pre-assembled lashings and awnings offer additional protection.  So that people and freight remain unharmed.

GrizzlyLash® GrizzlyLash® is used in containers, railway wagons and on flatracks.  The innovative weaving and production technology and the use of high-quality polyester fibres guarantee a high tensile strength of the lash strap. It also has excellent recovery properties and low elongation. Depending on the version, GrizzlyLash® is available spooled onto a 78 mm core or loose in a dispenser bag.
Container-Lashing Container-Lashings from Grönheit & Weigel are pre-assembled Restraint systems for immediate use. They prevent goods from shifting towards the door during transport and falling out when the container is opened. Such container lashings are easy and quick to handle. The systems consist of two vertical straps that are anchored in the container eyelets by means of sewn-on hooks. Depending on the required application, two to four horizontal straps are attached to these vertical straps, which can be adjusted in height or are firmly sewn in place and connected by means of double web closures.
Container-Awning The large-area Container-Awning also prevents goods from falling out when a container is opened. This Restraint system protects people and cargo! The robust Polypropylene (PP) used for the awning is resistant to most chemical solvents as well as to alkalis and acids. Four cam buckles are firmly sewn onto the container tarpaulin. Four straps, made of polyester with snap hooks, are used for fastening in the container.
Lashing Buckles Our GWS and WLS buckles are optimally matched to our GrizzlyLash®. The special design of the double bar buckles ensures that slipping back of the strap in the buckle is almost impossible. These buckles achieve the highest system strengths, reduce the risk of injury during loading and unloading and serve to preserve the value of your cargo. The buckle is made of steel and protected against corrosion by a special coating.
Welded Double J Hooks Our GWH Double J hooks are hooked into the anchorage points of the transport carriers. They are optimally matched to our GrizzlyLash®. As with the Lashing Buckles, the special design ensures that slipping back of the lash is almost impossible. Thus, Grönheit & Weigel’s Double J hooks also achieve the highest strength, reduce the risk of injury during loading and unloading and serve to protect your cargo. The load securing hooks are also made of steel and protected against corrosion.
