Comprehensive Load Securing

Strapping is the process of creating load units. Grönheit & Weigel offers different straps with varying widths and strengths for different applications.

GrizzlyStrap® PES woven (CW-Strap) This woven strap is made of polyester fibres (PES) with a low elongation and a high tensile strength. The soft structure of the strap prevents injuries to the user and provides a high level of protection even for sensitive goods.
GrizzlyStrap® KF Composite (CC-Strap) The patented production of this strap ensures high abrasion resistance, making it ideal for cargo with rough surfaces and hard edges. Made from untwisted polyester yarn, the strap is coated with polypropylene, making it resistant to most chemical solvents, alkalis and acids.
GrizzlyStrap® HM HOT-MELT (WG-HM-Strap) Hot-melt polyester filament structure strapping has been tried and tested in load securing for decades and is therefore at home in almost all industrial working environments. The soft strap is particularly suitable for sensitive edges and surfaces. The strap is weather-resistant and therefore hardly absorbs any moisture.
GrizzlyStrap® HM HOT-MELT (WG-HM-Strap) for Baling presses We also offer the GrizzlyStrap® HM as a special version for Baling presses. Spooled onto a 60 mm core, compacted bales of residual or recyclable materials can be conveniently bundled. The equipment meets our usual high quality standards.
GrizzlyStrap® PET (on request) GrizzlyStrap® made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has been used for decades to form load units. It is significantly cheaper than steel strapping and minimises the risk of injury. PET strapping is characterised by its high tensile strength. Since it does not rust, it also leaves no marks on sensitive surfaces.
GrizzlyStrap® PP GrizzlyStrap® made of polypropylene (PP) is ideal for manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic strapping. The flexible strap is also popular for sealing packages.
GrizzlyStretch elastic rubber The GrizzlyStretch elastic rubber is the new alternative for internal transport on pallets. The reusable rubber band cost-effectively replaces stretch films, adhesive tapes, stretch bands or twine for securing pallets.
Phosphated Buckles Phosphated Buckles are needed to securely seal our woven GrizzlyStrap® PES. They are made of steel and are slightly roughened by the special surface coating. This prevents the strap from slipping unintentionally.
Galvanised Buckles Galvanised Buckles are used in combination with our GrizzlyStrap® HM HOT-MELT as well as KF Composite. The buckles are also made of steel, but have a smoother surface structure due to their galvanisation. This makes threading easier and gives both types of strap the necessary grip. In addition, the zinc coating ensures that the clamp is as corrosion-resistant as possible.
