Effective Load Securing
In this section we offer you Ratchet straps, Clamp lock straps, Round slings and lifting straps in various designs.
Ratchet straps (tension straps) are probably the best-known means of securing loads and are familiar to most people. Such a belt usually consists of a ratchet and woven textile straps with hooks. The load is effectively secured by tensioning the strap.
Tie-down lashing is the most common type of securing. Here the load is pressed onto the loading surface. This increases the friction and the frictional force holds the load firmly on the loading surface. This is why it is also referred to as friction-locked load securing. Anti-slip mats are used to increase the coefficient of friction. This reduces the number of belts needed. The force acting on the load is called the pre-tensioning force. It is applied by the ratchet of the lashing strap.
With direct lashing, the load is not pressed onto the loading surface but merely held in position. The belts are used in a straight pull and only become effective when the load tries to move. This is a form-fitting securing system in which the belts replace the load compartment boundary.
Straps with a cam buckles are particularly suitable for quick securing during internal transport.
Round slings and lifting straps are textile slings according to DIN EN 1492 for moving loads.

Ratchet straps (2-piece)
These straps are made of woven polyester, which gives them low stretch, high tensile strength and a high breaking load. The material absorbs little moisture when lashing and protects sensitive surfaces from transport damage.
Ratchet straps with cam buckles
For lighter goods we recommend polyester straps with cam buckles. This strap is also excellently suited for internal transport and for quickly securing light pallet layers. The clamp lock straps have a linear strength of 250 daN.
Round slings for lifting loads
A Round sling is a textile sling made of high-strength polyester. Round slings can be used to lift loads that have no fixed anchor points. They are extremely flexible so that they adapt excellently to the contours of loads.
